Hydro-acoustic online monitoring with radio transmission
For conducting state-of-the-art monitoring of underwater sound, the itap GmbH has developed an online system. With this system, already during the measurement, the evaluation-relevant level values can be transmitted via radio to several receivers on surrounding vessels.
The analysis and transmission of the Sound Exposure Level is effected for each blow within split-seconds, so that exceedances of the limit value can immediately be reacted to, if necessary. The system fulfils all requirements of StUK4 and the BSH.
