Successful execution of underwater noise measurements during Monopile installation at Offshore Wind Farm Baltic Eagle between April and August 2023
On behalf of Van Oord, itap GmbH has carried out a comprehensive underwater noise monitoring at the monopile installation for the Baltic Eagle offshore wind farm. Between April and August 2023, 50 monopiles were installed using impact pile driving. Underwater noise measurements were successfully performed at distances between 750 m and 3.5 km in several directions to the respective installation.
