Successful execution of underwater noise measurements during Monopile installation at Offshore Wind Farm Hollandse Kust Noord between October 2022 and February 2023
On behalf of Van Oord, itap GmbH has carried out a comprehensive underwater
noise monitoring in the monopile installation in the OWF Hollandse Kust
Noord. Between October 2022 and February 2023, 70 monopiles were installed
using impact pile driving. Underwater noise measurements were successfully
performed at distances of 750 m in several directions to the respective
installation.
